This Japanese cheese tart shop, Pablo, was first opened in Osaka, Japan and is quite unique as it serves massive (and mini) cheese tarts that come in a variety of flavours, such as original (plain cheese), chocolate, and matcha ( I am mostly interested in this one! 😋).

I have being seeing the giant poster of this Japanese cheese tart shop for a long time and have been wondering when it will actually open.

Finally yesterday I saw online that it is opening today at 4PM, so at 2PM, we went and there's already a long line up for it.

We ended up waiting for 5 hours to get the last original cheese tart (I was debating between this and matcha flavour, but decided to go with this one first).

The shop itself is very small, but from what we saw, there is definitely room for dine in but it was not opened to the public today.

Take-out package comes with a set of cute little knife and fork, and napkin. The design of the box and bag is quite cute as well.

However, there's one issue with the package, and I will talk about it later.

When I opened the box, I immediately smell the cheese, it smells so good! 😍

The cheese looks much lighter than regular thick cheesecake (be aware of this if you are looking at the thick cheese cake texture).

One problem about the package I mentioned above is that because the cheese is so light, it actually got cracked when you put it into a box.

Little bit disappointed here from a photo point of view, but we all know the most import part is the flavour.

As you can see from the picture, the crust is really buttery and flaky, and the cheese is much creamier than the cheesecake we are used to.

For this cheese tart, I can see myself finishing the whole one easily ! ( remember, this is a 6 inch cheese tart! )

In Summary, I like it! 😃

In terms of ranking, I would give 4 out 5 stars.

If you also want to try it, below is the take out menu.

Address: 114 Dundas St W, Toronto, ON M5G 1C3
